Dingle Peninsula
Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, Republic of Ireland
The Dingle Peninsula is the northernmost of the major peninsulas in County Kerry.
It ends beyond the town of Dingle at Dunmore Head, the westernmost point of Ireland and indeed that of Europe.
Breathtaking beautiful.
Some of these pictures are from the bus, so please forgive any blurriness.
Travel memory: There is a route which takes you around the whole of the Peninsula. It is a very narrow road. Insanely it is a two way direction! We were stalled a while on the bus as it had to back up in order to allow some small cars heading in the opposite direction to get passed.
A couple of times when we were backing up I had to close my eyes.
Ireland - Make it a one way road!
