We climbed its tower and even had an opportunity to ring its bells!
Travel memory: I was able to capture a picture of Sharon ringing the bells. However, she was unable to get one of me. Why? She had somehow set her camera on the “automatic delay” setting, used when a person or group wants to set up a camera and then run around to be able to be captured in the picture. You understand me?
So obviously no "quick snap" pictures could be captured.
It even “beeped” a countdown of about 5 seconds. (That's a long time when you're there!) Others in the room were a bit perplexed with the beeps, I think.
I told Sharon that she never needed to worry about getting lost and separated from me – all she would have to do was take a picture and I could find her.
I did smile. Poor Sharon. I couldn't help her. I had no idea how to turn this feature off, having never used it.
(There will be a sequel to this story later in the website... stay tuned....)
